Tim Perrotta

Tim provides underwriting and analytical support to Providium's Health Care Consulting group. In this role, he assists with marketing benefit plan renewals, provides underwriting analysis and evaluation of rate renewals and proposals, and evaluates proposed employee benefit designs and contracts. He also researches employee benefit programs and medical and ancillary benefit industry trends. In addition, Tim is involved with developing and executing benefit plan RFPs for corporate clients and preparing announcements and explanations. Prior to joining Providium in June 2006, Tim worked for Excellus Health Plan, Inc. from 2003-2006 as an Actuarial/Rating Analyst. There he developed rate proposals and generated renewal rates for existing group accounts. At Excellus, Tim was named Lead Analyst for Western New York market and was responsible for overseeing $150 million book of business. A 2003 graduate of Nazareth College with a BA Mathematics, Tim lives in Penfield where he enjoys playing golf, running, and reading.
