Global Mobility

— Wednesday, January 23, 2007
Presented by Marylane Bianchi and Kristin Sampson of Providium Human Resource Group from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 23, as part of the IBC of Greater Rochester monthly forum.

Do you currently send staff overseas for extended periods of time? Do you have foreign workers? What about cross-border assignments with Canada?

The global economy has companies of every size sending staff overseas or bringing staff in to handle joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, installations, or training. Global Mobility is a growing trend but there are numerous expatriat or inpatriat requirements that can be overwhelming or costly for companies.

This forum introduces expatriat and inpatriat services, such as compensation and tax issues, employment laws, health benefits, cost of living, relocation, contracts, and other essential elements of global mobility.

Location: Medaille Hall, Nazareth College
Cost: No charge for IBC members
RG/Students: $15
Non-members: $20
